AI platform engineer, agentic QA, Third Axis AI

From Nov 2026

Part-time contract. Using an AI-employee product the way a business owner would, and building the harness of automated agents to test it at volume and find what breaks.

Part-time independent contractor from 2 November 2026. The product, its customers and what I find are confidential, so this page only says what the role is: using an AI-employee product the way a real business owner would, building the harness of automated agents to test it at volume, trying to break it, and reporting what works and what does not.

Contract developer, Adapter Group

May – Sep 2026

Built agent prototypes on a knowledge-graph platform's API for a client. Details confidential.

I worked as an independent contractor under a consulting agreement, building agent prototypes on top of a knowledge-graph platform's API. The work belongs to the client and is confidential, so this page says what kind of work it was and nothing about the product or the client's use.

Contract developer, Metropolis World

Apr – May 2026

Built the first phase of an AI-character platform in a four-week, fixed-scope contract: a chess-playing character that talks, analyses the game and is meant to feel like a person you are playing against. Gave it memories (generated from a backstory) and emotions, building on earlier work on agent memory and emotion; also the character data model and a web interface.

The brief was AI-powered places inside the company's city map, where visitors can talk to persistent characters with personalities and memory. I built the first phase, a chess-playing character you could play against: it talked to you, analysed the game, and was designed to feel like a person, with memories and emotions. A lot of my earlier work on agent memory and emotion went into it. I handed it over in May. The characters' lore and art belong to the client, so none of it is shown here.

President, RIT AI Club

Sep 2025 – May 2026

Ran the club for the 2025–26 year: hundreds of members on the roll, 10 to 50 attending each session in person. Guest speakers, events and workshops. Set up a platform for students to learn AI at their own pace, aimed at certifications, as a base for later officers to build on.

President for the 2025–26 academic year, September to May. The club ran guest speakers, events and workshops. I also set up a platform where students could learn AI asynchronously, with certifications as the end goal, and left it as a base for the next officers to build on.

Software tutor, Wyzant

Jun 2025 – Mar 2026

Built six client projects while teaching each client how and why they worked, including a retrieval-based assistant for an enterprise client and a finance research agent. Rated 5/5 on 6 reviews.

Clients came through Wyzant, an online tutoring marketplace. In each of the six projects I built the thing and talked the client through how and why it worked. Two can be named by type: a retrieval-based assistant for an enterprise client and a finance research agent. The others, and the client names, stay private.
